At CES 2025, Lenovo reveals ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable laptop, an AI device with an expandable screen that can stretch from 14 to 16.7 inches. Visitors to the trade event in Las Vegas, which runs between January 7th and 10th, can see firsthand how the expansion works. There’s a dedicated key that Lenovo adds on the laptop’s keyboard, or users can use hand gestures to the camera to activate the rollable display. The brand says that the ThinkBook AI laptop can allow professionals to multitask and work on several activities at once and on a single device.

Unlike other gadgets that require an external screen, the Lenovo ThinkBook shown at CES 2025 is already built in. The device weighs 1.7 kilos and is sleek with a profile of 19.9mm. The rollable display stretches vertically instead of sideways, and it has a split-screen function too. The brand believes this is suitable for those who need to review documents, code, manage projects, and create content such as video and image editing. This is the first time Lenovo has unveiled a stretchable screen for their ThinkBook series, a concept they first introduced in 2022.

For the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable laptop, Lenovo activates its AI Now. It is a smart assistant that helps users arrange their workflows and tasks they need to do. There’s also a system called Copilot+ PC, which the brand says offers professionals generative AI tools for content creation and data processing. For specs buffs, the Lenovo laptop shown at CES 2025 comes with Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor (Series 2). It also features Intel Arc graphics and connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 and Intel® Wi-Fi 7 (5 Gig).

The gadget has an edge-to-edge keyboard, a 120Hz OLED display with 400 nits brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color accuracy. Parts of the Lenovo laptop come from recycled materials. 50 percent of the chassis reuses recycled aluminum, while the speaker enclosure, battery frame, and AC adapter are from repurposed plastic. After CES 2025, the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable laptop is set to hit the market starting June 2025.
