Myaku Myaku look for Mizuno’s expo 2025 osaka sneakers
Mizuno jazzes up its bubbly Enerzy sneakers with a Myaku Myaku look for Expo 2025 Osaka. For a recap, Myaku Myaku is the Expo’s official mascot with rolling eyeballs and a sunflower head. In Mizuno’s case, it’s a pair of sneakers with a blue upper, a red-bubble outsole, and round eyes around the footwear’s bottom. The sportswear brand uses knitted synthetic fiber for the upper of the Expo 2025 Osaka sneakers, making them breathable.
The bubbly synthetic outsole called Miozuno Enerzy Core is resistant to friction. It also allows for soft padding from the rear to the forefoot. The brand says this bubble design helps mitigate the impact when the user lands on their rear foot, all the while supporting the weight of the forefoot. The 3D molded midsole of the Mizuno sneakers bears the print of the Expo 2025 Osaka and Myaku Myaku. It marks the shoes’ edition tailored to the global event.

Baycrew’s all-black color as the next shoe design
The Myaku Myaku-inspired colors aren’t the only new Mizuno Enerzy sneakers on board for the Expo 2025 Osaka. The sportswear brand brings over Baycrew’s original colors, too. These shoes then are all in black, from the upper to the bubbly outsole. No more rounded blue eyes around the bottom part, but at the heel of the Mizuno sneakers, users find the Expo 2025 Osaka tag. This model shares the same properties as the Myaku Myaku-colored version.
It has the knitted synthetic fiber for the upper as well as the synthetic outsole. What’s different is the insole. For the Baycrew black version, Mizuno uses the Myaku Myaku pattern. Patterns and blobs in blue, red, and gray swirl around the cushiony sole, and the logo of the Expo 2025 Osaka lies in the rear. The recognizable peering eyes still emerge in the colorful sole, a contrasting shade to the all-black exterior of the sneakers. The Expo 2025 Osaka runs from April 13th, 2025, through October 13th, 2025. The brand starts shipping the Baycrew’s sneakers in February 2025.
